Fall Festivities

After a long week of test prepping, studying, working on homework, studying, studying, and studying some more. We got to dive head first into some fall festivities before October’s soon departure. Our second annual trip to Pleasant Valley Farms with some of our best friends was another success! We ate some slaw dogs, walked around the pumpkin patch, and made our way through the corn maze in the dark. Many wrong turns, laughter, ka-ka’s, and running around made the corn maze that much more enjoyable.

This time of year has a way of capturing my heart and leaving me captivated by the beauty of autumn’s decay. And being able to enjoy it with good company… ahh there’s nothing like it.

Here’s a peek into our fun fall evening…

To make the evening even sweeter, I found out I was a winner of a $75 gift card in a local candy corn art contest. An awesome local jewelry company (Rustic Cuff) that I am in love with does incredible contests and always has amazing prizes for it’s fans. Myself and other candy corn loving creationists spilled our creative juices all in the spirit of fun and fall.

Here is a look at my submission:

Candy the Candy Corn Unicorn!

Hoping you all had the opportunity to get outside and enjoy all of the fall goodness. Make memories, be present, and live with passion.
